And why are global players interested in the opportunities for litigation funding in Israel?
London-based funders, like their law firm counterparts, continue to look overseas for opportunities; in 2017 Woodsford opened an office in Singapore following the loosening of regulations precluding funding, and we are expaning our operations in the US. In relation to Israel, Woodsford is the first of the big, global funders with a permanent presence on the ground in Tel-Aviv having spotting of the opportunities offered by the ‘start-up nation’.
