Access to justice sits at the bedrock of our work at Woodsford Litigation Funding. The principle that we should make a positive contribution to a just society has been enshrined in our business by our Chairman Yves Bonavero, who, together with his wife Anne, established the AB Charitable Trust in 1990. The Trust’s aims are the defence and promotion of human dignity.
We congratulate Yves on the announcement that the new Bonavero Institute of Human Rights at Oxford University is to open later this year. The dedicated Institute for the study of human rights law will be located in the grounds of Mansfield College, an initiative led by Baroness Helena Kennedy QC, a well-known champion of civil liberties and human rights.

‘My family is delighted to support the timely creation of a world-class Institute of Human Rights and cannot think of a better home for it than the internationally-renowned Law Faculty at the University of Oxford. Under its aegis, the new Institute will produce, and deploy in the field, academic research of such calibre that the lives of men, women and children worldwide will be improved.’
