Bram is responsible for managing actions funded and organised by Woodsford in both England and selected continental European jurisdictions. He is also leading Woodsford’s efforts to provide collective redress to European stakeholders that suffered damages as a result of competition infringements.
Before joining Woodsford, Bram worked as a Netherlands-qualified lawyer at a leading Benelux law firm. As a lawyer, Bram specialised in insolvency, restructuring and complex commercial litigation. He has experience advising shareholders and directors on liability related issues, and has represented a range of clients in various legal proceedings including collective actions for damages and large scale bankruptcy proceedings. He also spent three months on secondment with the legal team of a global financial institution where he focused on litigation and financial restructuring and recovery (FR&R).
Bram obtained a Bachelor of Laws and a Master of Laws (with honors) from Leiden University. He was admitted to the Amsterdam Bar in January 2019. He has written articles and case commentaries on both civil law and insolvency law related issues, and was a board member of the Dutch Association of Young Insolvency Lawyers.
