Antony sits on Woodsford’s Investment Advisory Panel and is one of Australia’s leading class action barristers. He has been the senior counsel in many wide-ranging class actions in Australia in areas such as securities, financial services, superannuation funds, group insurance, managed investment schemes, debenture schemes, trusts, mass torts and franchise operations. He took silk in 1999.
Antony regularly appears in the Federal Court of Australia and other State and Territory Supreme Courts, particularly in New South Wales. He also practises in commercial law, corporations law, financial services law, banking law, securities law, superannuation law, insurance law and equity. He has extensive experience in acting in large-scale, multi-party international commercial disputes.
Antony has also appeared in the Privy Council, High Court of Australia and other appellate courts in Australia. He has extensive experience in identifying and advising on potential class actions.
He has been Head of Chambers at Ninth Floor Selborne Chambers, and a member of the Professional Conduct Committee of the New South Wales Bar Association.
