Brendan Dyer joined Woodsford in January 2022 from Goodwin Procter, where he led the firm’s strategic pricing initiatives for both the IP Litigation and Complex Litigation and Dispute Resolution practices.

As a Big Law pricing professional, Brendan saw first-hand the capital-intensive nature of meritorious litigation and the stress it exerted on capital constrained clients. Through his work at Woodsford Brendan aims to enable access to justice for companies, universities, and inventors.

Brendan has a breadth of experience in legal pricing and project management obtained over 9 years, across multiple Amlaw 50 firms. Brendan is an Accredited Legal Pricing Professional (ALPP) as certified by TVPI for senior pricing professionals with the requisite experience and demonstrated mastery of the space. Brendan has been an advocate, consumer and broker for legal finance solutions in varying capacities during his career and across organizations.

Prior to joining Goodwin, Brendan was a senior member of the legal pricing team at WilmerHale where he worked closely with the IP Litigation practice to provide bespoke pricing and alternative fee arrangement solutions for the firm’s clients. Brendan began his work in legal pricing at Ropes and Gray where he was one of the original pricing team members at the firm.

In addition to his extensive work within AmLaw 50 pricing organizations, Brendan also founded and operated a legal finance brokerage business, where he worked to originate meritorious matters for litigation finance investment.

Brendan began his career in the defense sector where he worked in project finance for General Dynamics.

Brendan holds a BA from The University of New Hampshire, where he graduated Cum Laude.
