Cody Nguyen is an Australian qualified lawyer responsible for overseeing Woodsford’s funded litigation in Australia.
Cody holds a Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Business degrees from the Queensland University of Technology and is an admitted solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia.
Cody’s legal background comprises primarily of experience in class action and insurance litigation.
Prior to joining Woodsford, Cody worked for one of Australia’s largest plaintiff law firms where he was involved in a number of high profile financial services, environmental and product liability class actions across a number of state and federal jurisdictions.
Cody’s experience in insurance law gained from working for Australian and global law firms included managing complex professional indemnity litigation and advising Australian and international insurers in the areas of professional indemnity, property damage and policy coverage in respect of a wide range of industries including construction, engineering, financial services, legal and property.
Cody is passionate about providing access to justice to those who have been harmed by big businesses which is also the core basis of Woodsford’s ESG business. His varied experience in class actions and insurance litigation provides him with unique insight and perspective in managing Woodsford’s funded litigation.
