Since joining Woodsford in 2019, Daniel has led the commercial negotiation for hundreds of cases, purchase acquisitions and law firm facilities in the North America, Asia-Pacific and EMEA regions, structuring bespoke investments to help clients gain access to justice against big business and Big Tech. Daniel is particularly expert in financial and credit risk management with a strong focus on process improvement, technology, and operations.
Prior to joining Woodsford, Daniel held various European positions within FCE (Ford Credit Europe) Bank, a direct subsidiary of Ford Motor Company, who offer a variety of retail, leasing and wholesale financial products and services to Ford customers. There, his experience primarily lay within the Risk and Compliance functions. Daniel worked on risk management activities across several locations, including financial underwriting and reporting in his position as Senior Commercial Risk Analyst. He previously worked as Compliance Monitoring Officer, analysing the bank’s management with respect to PRA, FCA and other EU regulations.
Before FCE Bank, Daniel worked at Hilton Worldwide in Toledo, Spain, as Media Manager. He is fluent in Spanish.
Daniel graduated with honours from the University of Surrey in 2014, with a joint major in Business Management and Spanish. In 2019, he became a certified Six-Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) with the American Society for Quality and in 2020, a certified Automotive Finance Specialist (CertAutoFS).
