Ioan has a key role in the investigation, organisation, and management stages of Woodsford’s collective redress actions, with experience across multiple jurisdictions including the United Kingdom, continental Europe, and Japan. He has a particular focus on securities litigation.
Ioan has helped institutional investors in holding publicly listed companies to account and recovering losses arising from serious corporate misconduct. His experience covers a broad range of issues, including accountancy fraud, bribery, corruption, breaches of anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing laws, sanctions violations, product safety failings, and modern slavery.
Before joining Woodsford, Ioan worked at London law firm Forsters LLP, where he worked on several group action claims supported by litigation funding.
Ioan holds a law degree from the University of Liverpool and completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC) at Cardiff University.
