Olly has dual French / British nationality and speaks English, French and German. He was educated at St Paul’s School, London, and Oxford University (The Queen’s College). He also holds a Masters in Finance from the London Business School.
Since 2000, Olly has worked in international finance and trading including stretches in London, New York and Singapore. Olly joined commodity trader ED&F Man from university. He rose to become Head of Global Trading and was appointed to the board of ED&F Man Sugar – a 2,300-employee company with a multi-billion US dollar turnover.
Before joining Woodsford Consulting Ltd as Chief Investment Officer in 2009, Olly went back to school, gaining a Masters in Finance from London Business School, with particular emphasis on macro-economics and corporate finance.
In 2010, Olly founded Woodsford Capital Management Pte Ltd, a fully regulated asset management company in Singapore. He is a director of Piquant Capital Pte Ltd, a quantitative systematic equity-neutral hedge fund also headquartered in Singapore; a director of Woodsford Consulting Ltd, a private equity and asset management advisor in London; a director of Woodsford Litigation Funding, a leading funder of large commercial litigation and international arbitration; and a director of Woodsford TradeBridge Ltd, a start-up UK supply chain finance provider. He is also a trustee of the AB Charitable Trust.
