Phil is one of the founders of Woodsford Group. He was called to the bar in 2008 and has since worked as a human rights barrister. He is committed to promoting access to justice.
Phil serves on the Woodsford board and on the board of several other companies, including a listed Polish real estate business.
Phil has provided advice and representation to claimants across the full range of immigration-related matters, from the First-Tier Tribunal to the Court of Appeal. He has particular expertise in representing vulnerable appellants and often has been instructed to represent unaccompanied minors and victims of trafficking.
Phil is committed to pro bono work. Outside of the courtroom, Phil has also acted as legal consultant for the BBC documentary series Refugee Diaries.
